Having a little difficulty with the search mod. The search mod has always been easy to work with, not so much right now. I enter a word in the search field. It provides results. When I click on the particular result, the link redirects to the home page and does not go to the article I clicked on. Any article I search for. All results show, any link clicked goes to the home page with out showing the article or info I clicked on. I have read your other posts, I added a new htaccess file, I have create a new search menu item, I set the item id. Nothing is allowing the result link to show. You need to create a new search result page. Joomla will always send results to the homepage if there's no search page on your site. You need to create a new "search" menu item on your menu. Then once you do that go into the search module and there's a field at the bottom called SetID, you would set the search results to appear on the newly created page. |
