: Eden Rock Logo Change : dantec March 30, 2009, 09:26:21 AM How do you change the logo on the Eden Rock template. I see the s5_logo file but that dosent seem to be it. Need to know exactly how to do this. I did it before for itgstrategy.com but forgot and cant figure it out. Please help.

The tutorial does't help much because it shows you how to open and save a file. I'm using Fireworks 8 and and don't see how I can edit the background to get same effect as demo website. I tried to change the color of the layer called "bg", no result. I also tried to modify the layer called "texture" and it doesn't give the same effect, and I always get a grey bar on the left I've tried in Fireworks 8 and GIMP Please could you explain what these layers are for and give more instructions on how actually edit the file? In Photoshop you can edit the current background layer with any effect you wish or simply insert a new layer behind the text with your own design.

I'll try with photoshop. The problem is, it's bloody expensive!! Suggestion: Have you considered making graphic elements editable with GIMP? I really can't afford photoshop, and i'm probably not the only one Thanks anyway |
