: Button text size in IE7 : mcmaddcatt January 18, 2008, 03:56:49 PM In IE7 the text on the buttons is really large and therefore the text runs across the button borders. Any idea why?

: Re: Button text size in IE7 : jonahh January 20, 2008, 03:46:13 PM Jos,
What you can try doing is editing your template_css.css file. Scroll down to about line 320 and look for the .button class. You will notice the font-size is set to 14px. You can try lowering this and it might fix your problem. On the search button you could also take out some of the periods which should take down the length of that button. Regards, : Re: Button text size in IE7 : mcmaddcatt January 21, 2008, 05:43:45 AM The weard thing is that the texts in the buttons are OK in IE6 and FF. Why then not OK in IE7?
: Re: Button text size in IE7 : jonahh January 21, 2008, 10:56:12 AM I believe that IE7 formats buttons a little different than in IE6 and FF. It seems that it adds some extra padding to the HTML buttons.
: Re: Button text size in IE7 : mcmaddcatt January 21, 2008, 11:43:21 AM The text font IN the buttons comes out much larger. Any idea?
: Re: Button text size in IE7 : jonahh January 21, 2008, 02:59:15 PM I'm not sure why IE makes the font size larger, must just be the way it interprets it. Try taking down the font size a pixel or two with the CSS edit I posted above.
