: Menu Maintenance in Logged Out Mode
: Matt Lehr June 01, 2009, 07:59:22 PM
For the site I am building I love the logged out mode feature where users are limited to the content they view.  Nonetheless, I would like the users to have some ability to view one menu and access some pages to learn about the site before requiring them to login.

I cannot seem to figure out how to change the module settings to allow for this to happen?  Any suggestions on what to do to determine the access levels for what they can see in LOGGED OUT compared to LOGGED IN.

Thanks so much, you guys are the best!

Matt

Hello,

This is all controlled in the loggedout.php file in the template folder.  When you switch modes this file is used and hides the main Joomla body content and only allows for several module positions.

You can add a menu to the "left" or "right" module position.

If you want the Joomla main content area back, PM me FTP access to your site and I can add it to the file.
