: Search and the News|Events|Atrractions Questions : bitterroot June 10, 2009, 10:04:37 PM New to Joomla and not exactly a web design expert to boot, so forgive my ignorance.
1. How can I move the search module to the right side of the page. I would like some more room for a logo on the left. 2. The News | Events | Attractions tabs at the top of the content have me baffled. I would like to make use of these but don't see any articles. I see the Attractions Module with that content but I can find nothing for the Events and News, plus I can't edit past the read more tag on the Attractions Module. 3. I tried to change the page background but the image doesn't show up. I'm pretty sure I have it in the right location and the URL is correct. Any help would be welcome. Thanks in advance. To answer your questions: 1.) Open up the search module in your "site modules" area and you can change the module position assignment. 2.) Each of this is actually a module published to one of the s5 tab show module positions. As above, look in your "site modules" area for each of these modules. 3.) Make sure you are using a full URL, this means including http://www.yoursite.com. If you did this then try pasting the URL in your browser address bar. If it doesn't show up then you know that you aren't correctly pointing to the directory where the image is located. Regards, |
