Great template. I am new to this experience, so i hope i dont waste too much of your time. I have two questions: How to i implement or install the sliding navigation? and How do install the psd's into joomla? Thanks in Advance : Re: Your Store - July Club Template : mikek July 19, 2007, 08:57:42 PM stevjons,
Thank you and no you are not wasting our time, we're happy to help! There are actually tutorials on the demo to answer both of your questions: 1. Navigation menu: http://www.shape5.com/demo/your_store/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=18&Itemid=51 2. By PSDs I assume you mean the template itself, and it's here: http://www.shape5.com/demo/your_store/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=13&Itemid=39 I hope that helps and if you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask. Regards, : Re: Your Store - July Club Template : angelwigs August 04, 2007, 01:04:58 AM Hello!
I love "Your Store" Template =]. It is clear simple and nice =] However, I ran into some problems. I posted a picture of what my site looks like at the current moment. (http://angelwigsltd.com/media/wew.jpg) Problem number 1: As you can see from the circled moduled "Virtue Mart Search Module" it is not colored like the one on the demo? How do you make it look like the one on the demo, with its proper background color. Problem number 2: There is soemthing wrong with the shopping cart module. It is getting compressed somehow. Instead of seeing a rectangle box around "Show Cart". I get a line, and the prices is hidden because it is squashed and the price is cut off. Please take a look at this problem and let me know the solution. Again, I love you guy's templates, they are amazing. Thanks a billion, James : Re: Your Store - July Club Template : angelwigs August 04, 2007, 01:20:37 AM One other thing I would like to know is that how did you guys build the front page of the demo. The content section.
Was it a module? Content? Html? I want to bulid one that looks the same. and I am talking about this. (http://www.angelwigsltd.com/media/Untitled.jpg) THanks again. : Re: Your Store - July Club Template : jonahh August 04, 2007, 09:26:56 PM James,
To answer your first 2 problems: Problem 1 = You need to assign the module a style in your Joomla admin. See the tutorials section on the demo to see all the modules variations possible. Then just go into the virtuemart search module in your Joomla admin, scroll down a bit and you will see "module class" just type in "-style4" for example and this will change the look of the module to match the one seen in the demo. Problem 2 = Same issue here you need to set the class to "-cart" in the virtuemart cart module. To get the front page of the demo, we just made the home button invisible in the main menu. This then made the "online-shop" the first menu item, which then shows up first when you land on your website. So pretty much to change the inital page that shows up in a Joomla homepage just set whatever component or page to the first menu item in your main menu. Regards, |
