: Problem with Display Module
: ecelci July 12, 2009, 05:46:51 PM
Hi guys, I'm new in Shape 5. I just uplad Sportopolis. First of all this is just a fantastic template and thank you for it.
Now I'm trying to understand the template's extensions but I have a problem.

I set new articles for Display module but there is one more extra link intro text. Why I am seeing "read more" link instead of hyprelink in Display module and how can I fix it? It only appers in the articles which I add.

It also looks weird in IE.

I used Site Sharper while I'm installing the template.

Here is the url: http://www.nfltr.com/tr

Please help me.

Ooops it happens again. When you click the http://www.nfltr.com you can see that the 3rd and 4th article in the Display module has 2 links. One "read more" and one "hyprelink". Because of this the module looks weird in IE. I have to solve this.

Please help me.

Why don't someone answer my questions?

The "2 link" problem appears in every articles photo in Chrome.

Why Display Module has lots of problems?

Hello, the read more links are showing because your articles are short. In the module's backend you need to reduce the number of characters under "Length of intro text"

I have changed the numbers in "the lenght of intro text". I made it longer but nothing changed. I made it shorter, again, nothing changed. What is the standart?

Please help because I still can't solve it.

You can try adding this to the bottom of your template_css.css file to hide the links:

#s5_nd_content_window a.readon {
display:none;
}
