When I add a product to the cart, the VM javscript Window does not open and the Cart is not updated directly. The cart is updated until I reload the site. Virtuemart backend/Admin/Configuration/Site/ Click configuration on the right side under layout.

With other templates (Joomla 1.0.15 / madeyourweb or rhuk_solarflare_ii ) => Ajax popup is visible ! So I assume that it is a template issue - not VM.
