: IE and virtuemart error using sportsopolis : defarris September 05, 2009, 07:44:48 PM I am using the sportsopolis template for a site that includes a VirtueMart component. I did the full VM install as well as a few additional plugins using a membership. At some point, the site started locking people out who use IE7 (at least IE7, possibly 6 as well)
The lockout occurs when users select a item in the shopping list. The error is generally, "IE cannot access this site?" (I don't have WIN so I don't have the exact nomenclature, but it did happen to at least three users. I tested with users logged in and not logged in to accounts but got the same problem. It works fine on a MAC using Safari and Firefox. the site url is : http://stpetecycling.com the direct shopping url is : http://stpetecycling.com/buy-gear.html?page=shop.browse&category_id=9&vmcchk=1 The error occurs when users select an item from the shopping list. I know it happens with "Euro Cycling Cap" and "Men's Club Cut Jersey" My VM is 1.1.13 and I even reinstalled JCE to update and try and fix error. Thanks for help! : Re: IE and virtuemart error using sportsopolis : mikek September 05, 2009, 08:23:07 PM Hello, this would be an issue with the Virtuemart component I found a few posts about it on their forum:
