I had already disabled tooltips, but now it IS opening the website in IE with errors. Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) ; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; InfoPath.1) Timestamp: Thu, 24 Sep 2009 16:55:21 UTC Message: HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917) Line: 0 Char: 0 Code: 0 URI: http://robmcbryde.com/ In Firefox: The graphics don't display for modules in the "right" position on various pages with the Module Class Suffix -rounded. See... My Digital Hangouts Rob's Twitter Blog Posts They sometimes display for a second when you open a page, but then disappear (gets stripped of CSS formatting). Any ideas on that? In Internet Explorer: The same module graphics do not display on the About and sometimes other pages. It's intermittent. Also, in IE, the footer "Copyright ? 2009. RobMcBryde.com. Website by IVM Web Solutions." displays incorrectly. It's all shifted to the left side when it should be on the right. Thanks for your help! : Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : jonahh September 25, 2009, 11:16:03 AM You need to disable the clr fix in the template parameters and this will fix the module images from disappearing after the site has loaded.
As for the error, I see you have squeeze box enabled try disabling this or whatever other third party extension you have added. : Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : robmcbryde September 25, 2009, 11:56:19 AM What is squeeze box?
: Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : robmcbryde September 26, 2009, 10:46:31 AM I disabled the Twitter feed and have no other 3rd party extensions enabled. STILL not able to view in IE.
This is getting very frustrating. What's the deal? : Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : jonahh September 28, 2009, 04:05:24 PM I'm not sure but if you PM login details to your site I can figure out whats going on.

I'm not sure why this is occurring but to detect the problem, try disabling the s5 tab show, then try the media player. : Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : sterol2612 November 03, 2009, 05:53:54 AM Hi,
I have the same error using the Mediaplate template together with Internet Explorer. Beside "S5 Media Player" I use "Shadowbox Media Viewer" for showing other .flv-Files in lightbox-window. When deactivating "Shadowbox Media Viewer" the Website is shown, but this is not what I want. How can this problem be fixed? Urgently waiting for an answer, Roland. : Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : jonahh November 03, 2009, 11:31:10 AM Please see my PM
: Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : jonahh January 19, 2010, 12:10:40 PM I took another look at your site and noticed the s5_effects.js file is an older one. If you grab a fresh download and overwrite this file with a new one from the downloads this should fix your problem.

I have some questions about this update :
A.Thibault : Re: "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site..." : jonahh January 20, 2010, 02:50:38 PM You just need to update the s5 effects in the template js folder. If you grab the one from a fresh mediaplate template download this does have the updates.
