: Unwritable Parameter File : bwc64 September 28, 2009, 02:48:52 PM Let me start by saying, I really do like the theme. After looking over the others that are out there for gaming sites it is by far the best in my opinion. With that said I'll get to the point.
If the instruction say "can be done in minutes" it takes me hours. Now going on the 4th. day. I know just enough about Joomla website to F*** them up. I did manage to the most basic of items 1. change the background 2. change the logo {even found a post about resizing the height and moving it around} After the 10th time of trying the SAVE or APPLY and getting this: The parameter file /templates/gamevision/params.ini is unwritable! I went through the FTP and changed the properties and tried again with the same results. I think if I get this issue resolved it may solve some of the others that I am encountering. You would need to check with your host to see why it is not writable.
