: Using 3 count em' 3 templates on 1 site : baparks November 11, 2009, 09:53:31 AM I'm Running J! 1.5.15 and CB 1.2 with 3 Shape 5 templates:
New Architect is the default Joomla CommPortal is main secondary and assigned to Community Builder emercantilism is assigned to virtuMart Everything looks pretty good but I keep having this weird problem about template selection. If I'm in CB Commportal and I select certain menu selections ie a SImGallery photo (http://..../index.php/component/simgallery/?func=detail&aid=1&id=2) or if I click on my profile photo (http://.....?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=63) it takes me to the site default template New Architect. How can I fix this? I hope this makes sense! Thanks in advance! As an after thought let me add what I've done so far. Assign the component (ie. SimGallery) to a menu publish but don't use the menu (don't make it viewable) assign the menu to a template (commportal) Is there something I'm missing? : Re: Using 3 count em' 3 templates on 1 site : jonahh November 11, 2009, 01:42:00 PM Would you be able to post some URLs so I can better understand whats going on?
It sounds like you just need the CB profile page to stay on the Commportal template? If so just make sure you have a menu item pointing to the CB component and then assign the Commportal template to this menu item. : Re: Using 3 count em' 3 templates on 1 site : baparks November 11, 2009, 03:17:50 PM I thought I had done that !
The site is www.nc100bw.org : Re: Using 3 count em' 3 templates on 1 site : baparks November 11, 2009, 08:04:48 PM That was pretty stupid of me!
I'll PM you the NEW access info if you need it. : Re: Using 3 count em' 3 templates on 1 site : baparks November 13, 2009, 01:30:26 PM How can I assign the following to the commportal template
.....com_comprofiler&task=userprofile&user It keeps opening up in the site default template NOT the Commportal template. : Re: Using 3 count em' 3 templates on 1 site : jonahh November 16, 2009, 01:40:58 PM You can make an external link via your menu manager to it and then assign the template to this new menu item.
