: Links to Articles? : trevornl November 21, 2009, 08:52:48 PM Dear Shape 5,
Sorry to ask such a ridiculously simple question.... I would like clicking on the top box to link to a specific 'article'. Is that possible- and how? I understand the parameter interface asking for /content/65/158.... etc... but when I view the site by FTP, there isn't even a folder called /content ... and what does the 65 and the 158 mean? Yes - I know to joomla experts this will sound ridiculous - but please take pity on a newbie, and let me know how this translates? Thank you for your patience and undertanding! Trevor : Re: Links to Articles? : mikek November 23, 2009, 11:06:59 AM Hello, you can set links in the module's backend but you need to put in the exact url of the article, the module cannot look up the article's link.

: Re: Links to Articles? : mikek June 05, 2013, 07:32:41 AM Hello,
You would create an article in Joomla itself through the article manager, once you do that you just assign a menu item to the article. : Re: Links to Articles? : jeffhecht June 30, 2013, 01:07:00 PM If an article you are trying to link to is not in a menu already, I tend to create a menu called "background" this makes it easier to link to the article. copy the link to the article and paste it into the link area of the module.
