I installed the "eMercantilism" template, but did not want to run the virtuemart component. So I uninstalled the virtuemart component. Now when I access the site, I get the "404 - Component not found" Is it possible to run this template and not use any of the virtuemart. Yes it is you will have to assign a new menu item in your "menu manager" to be default. So login to the admin of Joomla go to menu manager > main menu. Then assign a new default menu item. |
