: Site Hacked - : jet316 January 14, 2010, 09:58:36 AM Two of my joomla sites were recently hacked. One was using the sportopolis template. It may have been due to me not patching the site. I didn?t want to break what I already had up.
Frustrated after hours of trying to undo the hack, I created a new directory for the domain and did a fresh install of sportopolis and have been peaceing the site back together. Originally I was using eTensity on the site which has virtual mart directly integrated. Is there a way to get sportopolis to integrate w. virtualmart? (I went back and I?m trying to get the original site back so I can see if there is anything I am missing (besides VM) ) The Hacker was: TaKasi email:[email protected] He changed the admin name to TaKasi & password to Pass Is there anywhere someone can report these types of attacks? : Re: Site Hacked - : mikek January 14, 2010, 02:27:01 PM Hello, hacks are almost always caused by unsecure servers. I would suggest contacting a third party to do a security analysis on your site.
