After reworking the 'Our Media:' module I tried to link the new images to their destinations in JCE 1.5.2.  IE8 blows up everytime.  Tried the Tiny MCE editor and it won't allow me to link the images to any path or URL it only allows linking the text.  I would like to link the entire image for each selection.  Is there a WYSIWYG editor that works best with this template?  Is there a fix for the JCE problems?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

What do you mean IE8 blows up?  Can you post a URL of exactly what is going on?  You should be able to use any WYSIWYG editor with the template.

Thanks for working late.   Give me a bit to recreate the error. Jce not only squashes IE8 but when JCE utilities is enabled it really screws up the appearance.  Everything but the header goes away.

Just got back and did not expect the reply. The error code will follow.   BTW I don't experience these problems in Firefox.  Perhaps the easy fix is to rely on a better browser.  It really! crashed every time I tried to edit the 'Our Media' module.  Tiny MCE did not cause problems.  Turn JCE on and whoopie Ie8 goes nuts with MS error reporting and tab recovery.  Turn on JCE Utilities and Whoa Nellie! blue screen time. ReBoot

One other FYI if the website is up with the S5 Image Scroll running in a tab (IE8 or Firefox) things get real slow until the scroller is moused over and halted.

Get right back with the error.

Another BTW... Is there a list of Module class suffixs (suffi, suffixes?) like -'darkgradient', etc?

I really like your work and so far the template is coming together nicely.  I know a new release is going to be beta tested by the first customers.  Clarity seems very flexible but just quirky.  I use Epic Pro quite a lot but S5 seems to be my new Goto.  You folks make great stuff.

Now... gimme a sec while I send my dev box into blue screen again.  On second thought, I am working pretty good now despite lag time.  I will blow it up in the morning.  Gnight.

Thanks again.

Hi again,
Problem 1.
Disabled Tiny MCE --- enabled JCE 1.5.2 --- IE 8 Crashed with error AppName: iexplore.exe    AppVer: 8.0.6001.18702    ModName: mshtml.dll
ModVer: 8.0.6001.18876    Offset: 000677e8

Problem 2.
Note attached images.
First is without JCE utilities enabled
Second is with JCE utilities enabled
It strips out everything below the Image Scroller.

Other concerns:
3.
If the website is up in a tab with the S5 Image Scroll running (IE8 or Firefox) things get real slow to load or update in the other tabs until the scroller is moused over and halted.  Seems to be using an inordinate amount of machine power.
4.
BTW... Is there a list of Module class suffixs (suffi, suffixes?) like -'darkgradient', etc?
The folks at Joomlashine (Epic Pro) have a pretty good tutorial for their template that lists names and examples of most of their suffixs.  Is this available from Shape5?

Thanks
JohnO

Here is a link to the module suffix's notice on the left hand side:

Can you post a URL and provide me Joomla login details? I really don't know what to suggest without looking at this first hand.
