Hi, I put the tabs module on my site, and it seems to be having some trouble with other modules including the s5_login and also my eventlist calander... when i use either of these two modules the tabs module covers them up. i guess this is a java error of some sort, can you point me in the right direction to fixing this?

you can find the issue at www.roadracersrealm.com   hit login and you will see.

Thanks a bunch!

Matt

Hey Matt,

Just add a zindex as I have done below:

open up template_css.css (line 565)

#s5_login_wrap {
background:#6A6969 none repeat scroll 0 0;
border-bottom:1px solid #393939;
border-right:1px solid #393939;
margin-left:-125px;
overflow:hidden;
padding:13px;
width:158px;
z-index:2;
}

What is it overlapping?  I took a look and don't see anything being overlapped.

when you click on the different tabs you will see the header disappear and the whole tab show slide up to the top of the browser. It acts like it has no anchor.

try this one>

Looking a the tab module it appears you aren't using a Shape 5 one.  You would need to contact the author of the module you are currently using for help.

My Tab Show is overlapping my menu drop-downs... Seemed similar. Is there a fix for that?

Try adding position and z-index to the below:

s5_suckerfish.css (line 71)

#s5_navv ul {
margin:0;
padding:0;
position:relative;
z-index:3;
}

I tried inserting that code and it killed the site.

To be honest I know almost nothing about code or adding and modifying it.

Could you help me clarify this code insertion?

Make sure you dont delete anything, all you have to do is add two lines of CSS formating to the suckerfish css file.  Just make sure you have semicolons and you just copy exactly as I have below and it will work

position:relative;
z-index:3;
