I'm tryin to use an extension that, I'm told, uses mootools to expand/collapse the items. (FAQs) Is it my understanding S5 does not use mootools? Will it break the template if I try to figure out a 'workaround'? Is there a FAQ extension that anyone knows that works best with S5?

Hello, few of our extensions use mootools but a few do. But it uses the shared mootools that comes packages with joomla 1.5. As long as your extensions uses the shared mootools files it won't have any issues.
