Hi - our site is finally live .... yay !!

Of course I found a problem a few minutes after making it live  Sad

On 1024X768 screens or smaller the right-most menu option causes the sub-menu to extend past the right edge of the screen so it disappears and cannot be selected with the mouse.

How do I fix this?

Thanks

Hello,

The menu has to be able to open to the right. The only way around that wold be to move the last menu item to a different menu position so that the last item has only one sub menu. And if still needed reduce the width of the overall site in the template configuration area.

I'm sorry - but this causes problems on any non-wide screen display and would require resizing the overall site dimension and all of the imagery and other defined size elements = huge amount of work.

I don't understand why the menu could not open right-to-left instead of left-to-right - which which fix the problem for every screen size (including iPhone; I know it could have it's own CSS but by default changing the menu orientation allows teh current site to work acceptably)?

Could you please review what would be needed to change the orientation and let me know what to do or where to look in the template?

Another way to fix this is to anchor the menu to start on the left  of the main content block rather than finish aligned on the right of the content block; where is this done?

Hello,

The menu was not intended to open in that direction, it was coded to open to the right. Any adjustments to this would require a lot of custom programming to change the orientation of the entire menu. The suggestions made above are the only ways to adjust this.
