When I click on the image being shown in the Shape 5 Image News, the article appears down in section 13 (as shown in this image:  http://www.shape5.com/product_details/club_templates/emma_smooth_-_august_2009_joomla_club_template.html).

In the demo (http://www.bestofjoomla.com/index2.php?option=com_bestoftemplate&task=demo&no_html=1&id=2654)   when you click the image, a whole new target  "page" is shown.  And the page only has the Shape 5 Image News module at the top, then the article directly below it.  This is much cleaner and more user-friendly (IMHO).

I'd like for my site to do as the demo site does, but I do not see where/how to specify a target.  Or where to specify how the article is to show.  I've reviewed the docs for Shape 5 Image News, but if it is there, I've overlooked it.

Thank you in advance.

Can you first try to disable SEF Urls in the Global Configuration to see if this fixes the issue.

If this doesn't work try changing the menu assignment for modules you do not want to appear beside the articles on that page.

Thanks Mike,

The SEF is turned off.

The Shape 5 Image News will behave as it does in the demo, but not from the 'home' page.  If I'm on a page showing just an article
For example:  You are here: Home  Club Events  Monthly Meetings    Then click on the Shape 5 Image News  image, then it works just as it does in the demo.

If you're on the home page, and click the Shape 5 Image News image, the article appears within the center of the home page.

I don't really understand your suggestion of:  "If this doesn't work try changing the menu assignment for modules you do not want to appear beside the articles on that page"

The article (#99, same as in the demo)  doesn't have a menu item for it.   It may have in the demo, but no longer in my site.
So I don't understand what menu assignments to look at.

Thank you again for your help.
If it is helpful, here's the site:    http://www.indianachevelles.com/joomla/

I'm planning to move it to the root tomorrow and officialy replace our old site.

On that URL you provided SEF is still on.

Can you send me your joomla login credentials so I can take a closer look.
