I am looking to change my current retail store design and move to an easier maintained site. Where is the best place to start Joomla or Worpress. I'm looking to use a store such as Interspire Shopping Cart. My website is http://www.goodfella.com. please take a look and any advice would be most welcome.

Regards,
Andrew

Hello,

I would suggest Joomla for an online shop. We have several templates designed for ecommerce, such as our recent eShopper template. Please keep in mind that any of our templates will work with ecommerce components, some are just more stylized for it than others. It really comes down to finding a template that fits your design style.

@De Razor,

Nice looking site, btw.  Just curious, are you doing dropshipping?

I've been thinking seriously about getting into it. The customer service aspects of it hold me back.

Thanks and good luck.

There are a couple of drop shippers who sell our products. We supply them the imagery and product information and they send us the order and payment at the same time. We ship next day so the customer isn't hanging around fir their goods. You will need to find suppliers with a quick turn around to keep your customers happy.
