I am currently trying to set users choice up and have run into a couple of problems:

1.  I made a mistake somewhere editing the footer and am now getting something really weird.

I cannot find where I made this mistake and it's driving me up the wall.

2. I am using the top menu for navigation and would like to make the text dark on a light back ground instead of light on a light background, also on the menu, I would like to spread it out across the page and make the drop downs the same size as the parent portion.

The link to the site is www.erichaynie.com/etc
any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

1. Without knowing what you've changed it would be impossible for me to diagnose. I would recommend getting a fresh copy out of the template's zip file.

2. This would require some custom programming to do this. You can change the colors of the menu by editing the image files that create it:

light/s5_menu_nav_bg.gif
light/s5_menu_nav_r.gif

The actual text color is controlled by your highlight colors in the template configuration.

I did uninstall and reinstall the template (sorry, I forgot to mention that), and it still comes up with what I quoted in the previous message.  I don't know if that will help with the diagnosis...I've also deleted and recreated the footer.

Thanks for the info on the images, that works great.

One other question, the line beneath the logo on the site, how can I make that fall lower on the page (say 250 px from the top so I can make the logo bigger.

Thanks

Hello,

I do not see the error message on your site anymore, were you able to fix it?

Are you trying to move the bar that holds the date and menu or the area above there that says "ETC"?

Hello,
I've simply unpublished the footer for now.  The reason I have 2 ETC logos there now is I would like to place the ETC logo and the image on the same row of the template (without making them one image), for some reason, the image does not show up in the banner, so I thought I would see if I could place them in the user2 and top positions and make the logo and banner positions collapse.  I kind of like the idea of doing that, because I can control the size of the logo better.  My only issues are getting rid of the logo and moving the top position to th left.

Anything I can do to make that happen?

If it would help, I am more than happy to set up super admin account for you to look things over, just don't be shocked if they are messy.

Thanks
ERIC
