A holographic bot, she gets you a beer, a pizza, a kebab, always washes up, never nags and does it all in the nude. Just think how many customers you would have, more than Microsoft eh! We can dream

External Link Icon

Maybe I'm in the wrong place, but external link icon, a link to an external website would be well nice being able to manage from our template.

I know there are some plugin, but I wonder Shape5 may give me a code, maybe a plugin for Shape5 template that we can install or copy somewhere.

So differentiate my external link to my internal link.

Thank Shape5.

Not strictly a template feature but....

I see the recent Kunena compatible template and have just started using Kunena myself but am flabbergasted that so far there's not an extension anywhere that creates an email to all forum members containing the latest posts. (Like Yahoo and Drupal  etc... have been doing for years !)

If Shape5 were to come up with that extension you'd pick up every Community Builder, Acajoom and Kunena user !  Wink

Hi Shape 5 Team...

If you could stream you tube playlists in the media player that would be fantastic.

I believe I saw a previous post that mentioned s5 did not design fluid sites due to issues with complying with older browsers (if I'm not mistaken)

SO!  Now that everyone is ceasing to accommodate that evil dragon ie6,  can we see some fluid and adjustable options?

I find your designs to be some of the most attractive and I'd much rather use s5 more often.  Modern monitors are at a completely different aspect ratio from old designs  (I mean basically the difference in a "portrait" layout versus "landscape" layout)  If this were only adjustable!!!

Please?   Please, please please?   Kiss

Hello,

Yes we actually have started fluid widths, not every template will have them but we are starting to include them as much as possible.  Bridge of Hope was the first fluid and pixel width template we've released in a while.

Something I think would benefit the S5 Clan Roster you just released is a "Clan Application" form to accompany the Roster.  I also think making the form post to the major forum software out there would be nice as well.  That way clan members can all review the clan application in the forums...  I used to have this on another site but haven't seen anything like this for joomla/kunena.

Also if there was a way to sort based on the rank of a clan/guild member.
I made an extra field called "Rank" but when I save the changes - all the clan members shift on the roster.

I guess I could just create categories - but i'd prefer if they were all on one page.

Donation tracker would be nice.  A simple horizontal, customizable (color foreground and background), meter and a donate button.  Maybe a little table under the meter stating that month/years goal and total collected as of now.  Yet to find a good one of these and will come in handy with non-profit sites.  Don't get my wrong there are some out there but they are stupid thermometers and hard to customize.

I'm not sure what the etiquette of mentioning other template clubs but there i cam across an oldish template that has a constantly changing background color. Its sooooo cool i havn't seen anything like it. every few seconds the background color gradually changes and then stays for a while before changing again without any prompts.

I've tried looking for a script that can do something similar and havnt found anything at all. IU wonder if anyone can point me to somewhere where i can find something similar.

THis would be a great feature on S5 templates.

yes but is there anyway to use that script in any other template. I am willing to just use the script with any backend configuration options eg just adding say a fixed number of images without the option to change them etc and copy the script into say the index file. Would that work or any other suggestions?

Hello, sorry that wouldn't be possible. The layout of the grame crusade was built specifically to work with this type of background.

... we'd really like to know what you are looking for the most.

A feature I have been wanting for a long time is a registration module similar to Community Builder's that requires a registrant to enter BOTH a first name and a last name, not just a single "Name" field. (I won't let "John" register, but will let "John Mortenson" register.) It should include the ability to optionally require additional fields like street address, phone number, and so on. I don't want to have to install CB just to get that. I love the work you folks do. Keep it  up!
