I'm testing IS V2 on a site using a Gavick template. Everything is correct, the url of the images are correct but the images doesn't show up in any way.

Tested with Mac with Chrome, FF 6 and Safari latest versions with no luck. This is the url

You'll se the arrow but not the images that are here

I've put the complete url in the image field; hope this is correct...

You had the mode set to "module" in the admin area it needed to be set to "image"

The module module allows you to publish any module like a product display module to up to 10 module positions.  An example can be seen here at the bottom of the page:
