I am running Joomla 1.7... using the most current version of this module... In the settings for this module - Under Basic Options... under Slide 1... In the Slide 1 Description Box... I put standard HTML tags ie. <p>, etc... I save it... and the HTML tags are removed and just the text is there...

It doesnt matter which Editor I have set in the configurations... I have the Articles - Options - Text Filters - Filter Type set to No Filtering... I am using this module with another developer's template but there isnt any wacky stuff in the template...

Any help? Thanks

As my original post mentioned - I tried all of those methods...  JCE doesnt have that option to strip out the code in the plug... nor does TinyMCE... I will check the others...

Ok Ive updated the 1.7 version of the download.  Try to redownload and install or just grab the mod_s5_slideshowadvance.xml file and overwrite your current one and this should fix this issue

Then you need to disable your WYSIWYG editor under your global configuration area.
