How do I add an ID to a widget so I can add it to the appearance/settings admin area?

The instructions you are looking for can be found Here.

The quick answer is:
1.  Go to the page that the widget is visible on.
2.  Look in the addressbar for a "?"
3.  If there is already a "?" in the URL of the page, add "&tp=1" to the end, if not, use "?tp=1"
4.  Hit "enter"
5.  Locate the widget after the page reloads.
6.  The widget ID will be displayed above the widget, copy/paste that into the admin area for the widget style you want.
