i input this into the image url field:

/images/stories/badcompany01-thumb.jpg

i'm reading the frontpage display and do i understand correctly that i will be able to display an image inside the tab which cycles the image to be displayed above it in the "top" region?

i can get the link to work.  i just can't get the images to work.

thanks for your help.

Hi, it doesn't look like your image is at that location, when I try to access:

http://www.poweredupgamers.com/images/stories/badcompany01-thumb.jpg

I get a not found error.

i have the picture loaded into /public_html/images/stories/badcompany01.jpg

i can see it in the files thru my ftp program and the control panel of my host

how do these folder structures relate to website url addresses?  how would i figure out where the file is in relation to:

http://www.poweredupgamers.com/???

public_html is always your starting point with urls anything after this folder is included in your url. So your url of the image would be:

http://www.poweredupgamers.com/images/stories/badcompany01-thumb.jpg

If you're certain it's in there you'll need to contact your host; your server may have file linking disabled which if it is disabled it doesn't allow certain files to be linked to.
