Hello,

Would you be able to help me regarding the website www.suncemarinkovic.com appearance in IE9?  I have noticed a strange thing occuring: the front page module is causing the loading of the website pages 5 minutes or more only in IE9. At first I thought it was another problem. Since the template is provided by Rocketheme a reported the problem to them and this is the answer I received:

Hi again,

you're using some 3rd party extensions which are loading jquery. This can be causing the problem in Internet Explorer.
You can try to enable the Mootools upgrade plugin in the plugin manager to see if that will solve the problem.

If it is still not working you can contact the developers of those extensions to ask how to make their scripts compatible with Mootools.

Hope this helps.

So, does the Front Page Display ver. 2 loads jquery and is it possible to solve this problem?
Thanking you in advance!
Aleksandar

Hello,

Wow, I don't RT even looked at your site to be honest Smiley The frontpage dispaly module does not use jquery, it uses the default mootools that comes with joomla.

Anyway, I loaded your site and everything loaded and functioned fine for me in IE9. Have you checked this on another machine?

I had jquery conflict that was caused by another extension, not the Front page module. Thank you and sorry for the post!
