Hello,
Try increasing the chmod settings of the following file to 775 or 777:
templates/hexicon_gamer/vertex.json

Hello,
You will need to verify your other file permissions as well then. Go to:
site/system information/directory permissions
And verify that all folders are writable. If any are not this will need to be corrected with your host.
Also, what version of php is your server running?

Hi,
I have been having this trouble with a lot of the templates when trying to Save or Save & Close using IE9. If I use Firefox for editing the templates set up, I have absolutely no trouble.
Although in saying that, it doesn't happen all the time, but definitely most of the time.
Sharon.

I can edit everything fine in Firefox, just not Explorer - so that's what I'm doing never had any issues like this with other templates, so if it happens again i will try what you suggested (the template is all set to writable) Thanks!

Believe it or not, this is more common than you'd think with Joomla. There's something in the core which upsets some config variants in IE. The only answer, as you will be the one with admin access, is don't use IE. In fact, nobody in the world should use IE
