Hi,

Im sorry my short experience, but I am trying to make the top menu bar and footer bar thinner (less height), not the blue body area but the dark grey areas within the template. How do I achieve this? what css file and what code line? Thanks!

For the header, in templates/appwonder/css/s5_suckerfish.css -

Line 53 s5_navv - Change the padding height

For the grey horizontal bar, in templates/appwonder/css/template.css...

Line 664 s5_horizontalbar - Change the height property

Bear in mind that there is a limit to how shallow you can make the header, as it has to accommodate the menu

Thank you. I noticed what you mentioned and decreased the height of the menu and logo as well. It finally fit thinner. How about the footer. I noticed than when the body content is not much, the footer grows up to a large extend of the page, while when content is larger, footer stays thin. Is there a way to keep the footer thin all the time?

Thanks!

What are you referring to as the footer? Do you mean the very bottom, where the copyright notice is?

Each section of the front page resizes dynamically, based on the content.

I would refer to the grey area at the botton of the page, right after the blue. I noticed it resizes or adapts depending on the content, however, I was just wondering if it was possible to have it fixed in a thinner look, preventing it from growing the content is not enough. Just wondering..

I suspect that what you need is probably beyond the scope of the support in these forums. If it's a major consideration for you, you might like to try the "Hire a Coder" section of the Shape 5 site.
