I have been playing around with the using the different backgrounds. As per the template instructions,  all of the menu items have -none selected-. At the address http://mysite/ The background shows just fine. Once I click on any of the menu items (http://mysite/index.php/home-mainmenu-1), the background goes black.Huh

--edit-- I found (previous info in the forum) that using search engine friendly url's was causing the problem.

Any solutions so I can have my cake and eat it too?

I'm using the fade-in menu at the moment but I am more than willing to loose a little eye candy for functional purpose if necessary

Hello,

You won't have to lose functionality just make a quick edit.  Open up the "s5_no_moo_menu.php" file and look for the below, there should be about 2 instances of this:

Code:
images/stories/

Replace this with your site name included, so for example if this were on shape5.com it would be:

Code:
http://www.shape.com/images/stories/
