Hi
You can remove the date in the template options. When you say "bottom bar" do you mean the footer, that normally holds copyright info etc??

Do you mean remove the menu, as seen in your screenshot, or just change the colour?

In the template settings, you can set "Menu Type" to no menu, and then publish your menu module elsewhere in the site.

i wanted to test a few color combinatio and i've noticed that there is a inner background and an ''outside'' background
i wanted to modify the outside one too is it done via css or via a repeating image?
and can you indicate me where is it located? eg the in the css or the name of the immage

i've replaced the main background image but there are some kind of bottom right and left border which are grey
