In Firefox, Slideshow Advance works perfectly as intended.  However, in Internet Explorer for some reason, the slideshow does not show up where it should.  Instead of being centered in the page like the rest of the website, it shows up off to the right side of the screen. The grey box that normally surrounds the slideshow is still in the middle, but the actual graphics and text is what is moved.  If you run your mouse over the slideshow off to the side, it returns the cursor to the middle of the page where it should be.

What is the deal with this?  Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks,

Jonahh,

Because this site is for a private organization, I did not want to post the URL on the public boards.  I have PM'd you the URL so you can take a look at it.  Thanks!

I took a look and really don't know why its doing this, I suggest reinstalling the module and see if this fixes the problem.

Also your logo in IE6 is still showing the Sea of glass logo, you need to edit the CSS for IE6 in the index.php file too.

Jonahh,

I uninstalled (and checked to make sure all files and folders were deleted), and reinstalled off of a current download from the Shape5 site.  I still run into the exact same problem!

Do you have any other ideas as to how I can get this to work correctly with IE6/7?

Hey Jonahh,

As I have not heard back from you lately, I assume you do not have other ideas for how to fix this problem with this module.

Does anyone else have any ideas for how we could fix this?

Hello,

Sorry about that.  Could you PM FTP and Joomla login details for the site?  I see the problem but am not sure what to suggest without trying a few things in the code first.

Thanks,

This is now fixed on your site.  For anyeone else using this and the Sea of Glass template.  Make sure if you want it published as the demo shows that you publish it to the advert1 position.
