If you wish to have a "vertical accordion" drop down module I would highly suggest signing up to Shape5 Club Joomla as it is offered in the Extensions Directory for registered users.
You also look like you need to add a custom module position to the template. Below is my tutorial on how to accomplish a new module position in your template. If you wish to receive additional coding support please sign up for a membership
There are 3 files you need to edit to add a new module position to your template.
Step 1 - Add a new entry to your template.css to the bottom of body elements. In this case I am calling my new module s5_mymodule
Step 2 - Add a new positions entry to your TemplateDetails.XML file. In this case we will use the following entry to match our CSS
Step 3 - Add a new entry to your Index.PHP in an area relative to where you want your module to appear. For example if you wanted something near the "header" area find another module such as "logo" and add it below there. You can customize the "exact" position within the CSS file by adjusting "left" and "top" in the above template.css code that you added earlier so just get it somewhere close.
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="s5_mymodule" />
Step 4 - Add anything you want to your new module position in joomla! In this case I have just made a custom html and wrote WE DID IT! multiple times but you can add anything such as pictures, sliders etc
Step 5 - The outcome will look something like below which you can adjust later with the CSS
Where the module position appears in the www.yourdomain.com/?tp=1
What an example of a module published to this position looks like
