Is your developer license allow to hide or remove template name from the site source? I need this for security issues and prevent competitors viewing what templates I am using for my clients' web projects?

eg: if I have website template like this path "site/templates/atomic" (in the source code of site it shows the path).

I want something like this in the source code :

"site/templates/customised_name"

I know you can change/ rename the template folder name to achieve this but does your developer license allow it, may I ask first???

Hello,

You can't remove from the xml or php files but you can remove from the footer on the frontend.  The backend files must keep author details intact.  You can rename the template and folder though, thats fine.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yes just rename the template is sufficient in my case, I guess if my template path is /public_html/templates/corporate_response (if I use corporate response template), then if I want to rename "corporate_response" to customised_name then I would see this template path eventually /public_html/templates/customised_name.

After I renamed the template name, then what else do I need to do, anywhere I need to change also to make it works with the new template name?

I believe in templatedetails.xml file you would also have to change the template name in there

Thanks for your reply once again. As you may know I have already got the developer license. You mentioned this "You can rename the template and folder though, thats fine". In order to rename the template name, do I need to look for the <name>. . .</name> tag (around 7th line) in the templateDetails.xml and rename it from there??? I am sure those with developer license may want this sort of help, cheers!

Hello,

Yes correct the <name> tag is where you would change the name and if its a Vertex template you'll have to scroll down and change at the bottom in the path for:

<fields name="params" addfieldpath="

Hello,

Support for paid products is only given during the time of your membership. Also, renaming the template is not something that we provide support on anyway. This is something that you are trying to customize on the template.
