Siteshaper has randomly installed bottom menu "Home, About us, FAQs, News, Blog, Site Map, Site Terms, Learn More, Updates". When I tried to configure it I couldn't because I can see in menu manager only main menu, so, I deleted that module bottom menu and menu disappeared. I create my own bottom but when I tried to create new menu item named Blog I get this message: Save failed with the following error: Another menu item has the same alias in Root. Root is the top level parent So, can you please tel me where can I find this bottom menu which is installed in siteshaper, I can see only main menu, it must be somewhere, I need to edit it!

Make sure you remove the file you deleted from the "trash" bin and see if that helps.
Also can you also try giving the menus a different alias name

Ok, this is solution to create your own bottom menu, I did that and I can edit my own bottom menu but this is not the solution for my problem. The problem is that i can't use any of alias created in bottom menu at demo siteshaper. I install demo in localhost, deleted all menus, tried bottom menu connect with main menu that it doesn't have any connection with bottom menu, tried everything, deleted al trashes and nothing. Always same message: "Save failed with the following error: Another menu item has the same alias in Root. Root is the top level parent" And now when I testing this I can't unpublish Main menu also. This is total mess with menus at MaxedMag demo siteshaper. I don't have enough brains anymore to figure it out how are this menu installed. Please help me this site is important to me and I need solution now!

Ok, I find a solution, the problem is that in SQL database some menus still exist. Don't know exactly why they are not visible in Joomla administration. Anyway, I deleted tables from database and wholllaaa! It's working

Hi, I am trying to remove that bottom menu from the template and it has padlock on it in the module manager area. You can not unlock or unpublish it. Is there another way around this? Thanks

Hello,
Use the below feature of Joomla to check in all items regardless of who created/modified them.
Site > Maintenance > Global Check-In
If you do not have access to this function then contact the Super User for the site.

Is there other solution without manually deleting it from the database? Thanks and regards, Amy

Hello,
I don't see this issue on my local copy from our Downloads. Check to make sure they aren't in the trashed section and try clearing the site cache. If it has a padlock next to it then use the Global Check-in then un-publish the menu module.
