Hi Mike...

I need your help on User Choice again...

The thing I love most about the User Choice template is...
The fact that it's so versatile and flexible...
I think I could use it for 100's of different sites and
no two sites would look the same...

My problem is, so many choices and possibilities make the
programming complex and confusing... plus
you don't have a lot of comments to help a rusty old hacker
like myself to customize the little things...

For instance I'm trying to position an element in the "Top"
mod in the upper left corner but there's too much wasted space
and no way to adjust it...

After scouring through template_css.css and light.css and
reading through all the program files one more time... trying
to figure out which variables control what and where they
could be changed...I accomplished little except getting sleepy...

So... I just hacked index.php and forced a fixed margin
into s5_top_container... Not a good solution..!

I'd like to use this template for several different sites but
I need to be able to control the little things like
row spacing, padding, margins, etc...

As a matter of fact... I'd consider my entire membership
money well spent if I could just master this one template...

I'm sending you a private message with the url of one of the sites
I'm working on, to show you what I mean and explain my request...

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated...

Thanks Mike...
Bob

webpartner,

I got your private message but the login information you gave me wasn't working. Can you please advise on that. Is there a specific part of the template you would like me to look at? I'll private message you a couple more details on editing once I get the login information. Thanks!
