I want to publish Custom menu widget to Top Menu position as per Menu Setup for Fusion here: http://www.shape5.com/demo/index.php?wp/fusion.

However I cannot find a Top Menu position in the widget area, just a Top position.

Same applies to Bottom menu - there is only a Bottom position and not a Bottom Menu position?

Thanks

This page of the demo shows all the positions and their names:
http://www.shape5.com/demo/index.php?wp/fusion?page_id=204

"Top" is the correct location to place a custom menu widget in order to mimic the "extra" menu on the demo.

The actual site menu cannot be replaced with a custom menu; that theme was released before the WP3 custom menus and uses the site page structure to determine the menu structure.

If you want true flexibility, I recommend looking at the newer/newest releases and seeing if there's anything on the Vertex Framework that can meet your needs.

ok that makes sense -
I need this template in wordpress to correlate with client's fusion template in Joomla.
So, I'll work with it as it is now.
Thank you.

If you are just trying to add a WP blog to an existing site and need to duplicate the menu structure of the existing site, I recommend using the "Page Links To" plugin for WP.  That plugin will allow you to create "empty" pages and override their path with a custom link; that way you can duplicate the menu structure of the Joomla site and have the menu links point to the same URL as the menu items the Joomla version has.

Great workaround thanks Tristan - I will try it out for now.

Does Shape5 plan to upgrade all its Wordpress templates to latest version. now 3.4.2 - otherwise what's the use?
Perhaps you can have a status list similar to the J1.7 & J2.5 list for Joomla templates.

All WordPress themes function correctly on the latest version of WP.

The oldest releases have a very different code structure from the newer ones; different enough that they would essentially have to be re-created from scratch.  Because of that fact, and the fact that the older releases still work just as well as they did when first released, there is currently no plan to "upgrade" them.
