Hello,

I am using the image fader at www.fbcdennis.org/joomla.  We changed templates to the touch of soul template.

The problem that I am having is the fader will only show  images that were on the site before the template switch.  I have uploaded new images but they will not show up on the fader.

I have uninstalled the module and reinstalled only to have the same problem.

I am one of two super users for the site.  He loaded all the previous images so I had him upload two images that I created but they do not show up either.

I am using legacy 1.0.  The images that I am using are .jpg file format.

Can you make sure all the images are in the /images folder on the ftp and that they are being redirected to properly in the S5 ICAFv3.0. Even a typo could cause this if they don't match up properly.

Also make sure you are using the correct  /images folder.

If you still can't figure it out let me know

I had all the images that I was using in a folder called banners in the images folder so /images/banners.  All three images were in this folder.  Only one image would display on the front end, that one was the image that had been on the site for months.  The other two have only been uploaded recently.

I tried to upload three images to just the images folder.  I named them 0_0m.jpg, 0_1m.jpg, 0_2m.jpg.  None of the three are showing up.

I have put the directory path as http://www.fbcdennis.org/joomla/images/

I tried the directory path with out the / after images.  This did not help still not working.

Could you PM me the FTP and Joomla access so I can see what you have done wrong.

Just put your images in the images folder and name them as s5mike1, s5mike2 etc so I can see them and apply them to the fader for you.

I am experiencing the same problem.  I updated the site, changed a few pictures and now the entire S5 Image Fader is gone.  I've tried everything I know to do.  I've set the directory to /images and nothing is showing.  I even tried the full URL.  Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Michael

Never mind.  I figured it out.

For those who are still dealing with this issue, here are the instructions...
In the S5 Image Fader module, find the section labeled 'Basic Options', then look for the 'image directory path' field.  Make sure this field is left blank.  Then, open the 'Advanced Options' section and make sure your image links are formatted like this ... images/image_fader_1.jpg .

That should do it.  Your images should show up.

Hello,

Thanks for the update. That is indeed the correct way to set this up.
