I'm having a very odd problem installing this module. For some reason uploading the package file doesn't work, installing from a directory doesn't work, and installing from the Web doesn't work. I'm using Joomla 1.5 with the Foreverace template. When I set up Joomla, the site was on a weird "temporary" version and some artifact of that seems to have worked its way into the configuration files somewhere, which is screwing up my uploads (I think). But I've searched and searched and I can't figure out where it is. I'm not sure what information someone would need to help with me this, so please let me know.

The site is www.custerconsultants.net

Thanks.

Hello, the only way you can install a module is through Joomla's installation screen in the administration portion of Joomla. Are you receiving an error when you try to install it?

It says "Unable to find install package." I've tried uploading the module through Joomla, pointing it at the ZIP (using "Install from Directory"), pointed it the directory where I've unzipped the module, and pointing it directly at the URL of the package on my server (using "Install from URL"). FTP seems to work OK, it just can't install this module for some reason. I've been working with this site for some time and installed a number of modules and components, and I can't figure out why it would suddenly break like this.

You can try two things.

1. Re-download the module just incase the download didn't finish and got corrupted.

2. Are there any folders on the installation page listed in red, showing that they are unwritable? If so, you will need to fix the permissions on that folder.
