Hi.
I'm just getting back into Joomla and am a bit rusty, so i hope you'll bear with me.

I have just installed the Aluma Photography template (at http://princeofpieces.ca/) and the Photo Expressions module. All has been successful so far. I have uploaded 20 thumbnails (thumbnail001.jpg to thumbnail020.jpg) and the corresponding large images (large001.jpg to large020.jpg) into the default directory.

The s5_pe_1 to s5_p3_5 positions are available for selection, but when i choose one of those, the module doesn't appear. It does appear when i select one of the standard template positions, like left for example.

Why are the s5_pe_1 to s5_pe_5 positions not functioning?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello,

You would publish the module to a template module position, not the s5_pe_X positions. Those positions are module positions within the module that you can publish other modules to. On the demo, the s5_pe_X are the ones that show when you click on the buttons under the large image.

Thanks Mike.

I've switched to the Sea of Glass template and installed the Photo Expressions module as a (customized) VirtueMart category access point. I modified the module as per dustyken's instructions (http://www.shape5.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,75/topic,13024.msg51913/#msg51913)

Works like a charm.
