Hi,

While the Flex Accordion Menu is part of Simplex template, I have no idea how to activate it for a secondary menu item.  Where or how do I turn it on?

Thanks,

Hello,

If you are referring to the S5 Accordion Menu Module you can control that through the Module settings. You just change what menu group is assigned to display for the module.

Ok, I put a menu into the 'left' module, and it does appear on the left, but now I have a different issue.

I am using the same menu for Main Menu area and Left area just to test things out.

In attempt to make the parent items 'unclickable' just like how it is on Shape5 website, I set the parent menu items to External Link mode and placed # for links.  This renders the Accordion menu Parent items incapable of extending.
If you are on a child item, parent automatically extends, but you can't extend the other parents when clicked.

I also tried to use "Text Separator" menu type, which omits any function and formatting for the Parent items.
Is there any way I can get around this so that the accordion works properly with unlinked Parent items?

-Thanks so much,

Hello,

The only way to make the link un-clickable would be to use a Text Separator. What do you mean that it omits any styling when you use this?

Can you post a URL?

The parent items would show without any box around them or anything.  neither are they capable of expanding when you click on them to view children items.
