I am using the maxed mag template and trying to figure out the modules in top row 1_2  (s5 tab show),  and   s5_tab 1,  s5_tab2 and s5_tab3  (tab show 1, 2 and 3) .  I was able to find them and edit them, but I can't figure out how they are 'connected'.   When  I  put the title on the  button, say 'videos',  'photos' etc,  how does the button KNOW to LINK  to the html  modules that correspond them,  and move to that article when clicked on?  Just wondering  and would really appreciate if someone was able to tell me,  thanks!

Hello,

The way the Tab Show works is you publish the Tab Show module to a specific position on the site. Within that Module you create the Titles for each tab.

Then you create Custom HTML modules in the correct positions for each tab you created originally. So s5_tab1, s5_tab2 etc etc

Then you add the Custom HTML content to each tab and it should display underneath the Tab Title you created.

Thanks Mike guess I am trying to make it more complicated for myself lol.  I was trying to figure how they were connected as they are two different modules.   The tab show is in one position and the  html modules are in another?  Or just seems like it to me lol  I will have another look lol  Thanks for the quick reply Smiley

NP Smiley

The Tab Show HTML modules are loaded into the Tab Show Module with the positions that I specified. This allows you to have complete control of what each tab looks like.
