Everything is looking great in Firefox/Chrome and most pages on Internet Explorer but on some versions, and some pages the styles are not rendered. For example, this page http://www.tampabayboater.com/index.php/vessel-images

Here's a screen shot taken from Broswershots in the latest version of IE. I don't know what might be different about the page that is causing the error. The same is true on the actual images pages using the sigplus plugin.

Hello,

I looked at that page in Firefox and the Latest Version of IE and they seem to appear the same. Not sure if you have any additional tips to replicate the issue? If you are using any 3rd party plugins try disabling them temporarily on the problematic pages to see if they are causing conflicts.

Thanks for your prompt reply and I have seen the same. When I look in IE 10 it looks great but this morning I was at a client's business and when they looked in their version of IE the background didn't show up so I did the test on browsershots.

Browsershots shows no background in IE8 or IE9.

Hello,

Every version of IE is showing the background on my end. It is most likely related to their computers or server configuration at the office.

Thanks again for your time in having a look, strange that it's not showing up in browsershots.org either though. I'll run that again, save the images and  update.

Hello,

I have tested this on 2 different computers now in IE7/8/9/10 and the background appears properly on both. I would suggest trying on a different system to see if the issue still occurs because I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be working on my end.

Agreed but it seems something has to be different... I just ran the same three browsers against the home page on browsershots and they are all showing up fine. I wonder what it is about the page that would pre-empt the background for those browsers on that page.

I'm assuming that there's nothing in the notes on the right in the post above for IE9/10 that might explain the issue.

Could it be something in the different style sheets that are loaded in each page that may create an issue in IE8/9 on some machines?

Home Styles:
Code:
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="/plugins/system/mediabox_ck/mediabox_ck/mediaboxAdvBlack21.css" type="text/css" />

Hello,

It is possible. Try disabling any 3rd party extensions and testing again to see if its any better.

It looks as if it's the sigplus plug in that's creating the issue. When it's disabled the appearance looks fine on IE8/9. I love the plug in so I hate to look for something else but guess that I'll have to.

Is there something that I can do to dig further to see what's creating the conflict or perhaps to get it to load later if that might help?

Either way, thanks again for your time/support!

Hello,

If you have narrowed it down to a single plugin that is causing the problem on your site just contact the Plugin Developer and report the issue. If they see the problem and identify it they can most likely provide an update to fix it for you.
