I am using the red template because that comes very close to the colors we already used in the texts on our website.

We now have to redo the logo.

I need the colornumber for the color of the solid red that shows up on the submenu entries on the topmenu.

We want to use that to update the colorscheme of our logo. It is the color of the submenu Affiliates program in www.BudgetLax.nl

Hello Jos,

The solid red color for the sub menu items on the suckerfish menu is #782C34

If you are referring to something else let me know.

I have applied this color number. I figure it is not the exact color of the submenu solid colors. It looks like it is a shade lighter.

Check www.BudgetLax.nl. If I am right, then what is the proper colornumber?

Jos,

I'm not sure why the color would appear slightly off.  If you look at the color5.css file, that your website is using, you can find the following lines of code:

#navv ul ul {
background-color:#782C34;
border-width:1px;
}

The above background color #782C34 is the color of the submenu items. What you can do is take the color in your logo (since it is slightly lighter) and replace the above color so they match.  Or you could pick a new dark red color and replace both.

Hope this helps.

Jos,

The color I sent you #782C34 is exactly what you are pointing at in the image you attached.

Maybe I am crazy but I copied and pasted the colornumber from your post in Fireworks and that generated the color you can see in the logo.

Do you agree with me that both colors do not match? It looks much more like the top half color of the main top menu bar than the color I pointed out above.

Hello Jos,

The colors do look off like you are saying.  It might be because of the JPEG image quality, try saving it at a higher KB size.  I took a screenshot of your logo, brought it into photoshop and did a 3x3 point sample on the red around your logo.  It came out as #663333.  If saving the logo at a higher KB doesn't work for you then maybe you could update the CSS for the sub menu items to be #663333 instead of #782C34
