Hi,

I've got a project management extension that I'm using after clients and team members login. I'd like to change the layout as the navigation other than the items related to the project management are redundant can you advise the easiest way to do this - remove modules and menu items etc so it creates as much space as possible for the project management side of things.

It will be used for clients too so I'd like it to have the same feel as the rest of the template it's just removing items after a user logs in I don't seem to be able to do.

cheers,

john

Hello,

I am not really sure what you are trying to do here. If you want different layouts of the Template you would need to use multiple styles in the back end and link them to different menu items.

hi mike,

once the user logs in they only need to see the nav for the project management everything else is redundent so I'm trying to acheive this by hiding the navigation or other items once a user logs in or by using a different layout without the navigation showing. I\ve read some stuff online to say this should be achievable since 1.6 release, basically so the register button hides once a user logs in and in the same way I should be able to hide the other items once the user logs in

cheers

Hello,

From an ACL stand point you can really only "add" additional items with "Registered Only" settings. There really isn't any option to "remove" menu items when logging in.
