In my widget area I have enabled Top Row 1.1 - 1.5 creating 5 small banners across my page.
For some reason only the first banner picks up a padding of 5px.
None of the other banners listed in Top Row 1.2 - 1.5 do this.

The only way I can get the padding to go away so all the banners will line up evenly is to set the padding to 0px in editor.css.
If I do this then all the information on the site using the <p> tags is squished.

I have ensured that every single banner has the exact same coding so they are consistent.
I have also tried replacing one of the other banners which lines up fine in any other position, into Top Row 1.1.
Once again padding is added to the banner.

How can I eliminate the first banner in Top Row 1.1 from adding this padding without compromising the rest of my site?

It's very possible that the unclosed tag issue already mentioned on one of your other threads is the problem.  I noticed that all your top row widgets have 2 paragraph tags that are unclosed.  That could also be what is causing the "unclosed divs" validation errors I see when checking your site validation.

Tristan
After reading your response about the close </p> tags I thought that might be the problem too.
So I went in and closed all the open <p> tags in all the banners, but even after doing that I am still getting the weird spacing in the Top Row 1.1 position. Huh I am going to look into it a bit further using the other validation links you sent me but this issue just might be legit... Wink
