Hi Mike,

Can you please help me find the    S5imag...ent.css    file as I can't locate it anywhere in the Traction folder. I am trying to change a colour code on there and using firebug I?m directed to locate the file extension (S5imag...ent.css). It is in relation to .jdGallery .carousel and  .jdGallery a.carouselBtn.

Secondly using firebug am to locate this file extension
#s5_nav li.active:hover a, #s5_nav limainMenuParentBtnFocused www.violetjay.com#3 (line598) can?t fine that on the template.css. Any ideas? Access www.violetjay.com and place your cursor on the VIOLET JAY menu it would turn to white but want that in a different colour.

Thirdly I have created a Text Separator for the BLOG menu to have a dropdown submenu. When you move the cursor  to BLOG its does dropdown to show what other links are on there but when you move away from BLOG and come back to that link again it does not dropdown anymore until you refresh the page then it works.

Thank you and counting on your co-operation.nd the S5imag...ent.css file as i can't locate it anywhere. I am trying

Hello,

1) /traction/modules/mod_s5_image_and_content_fader/css/s5imagecontent.css

2) It should be in the index.php on line 121

3) Try and change it to an external URL with :;javascript as the link

Thanks Mike for the feedback everything is working out ok except for my third issue which is still playing up. I did as advice use External URL instead for the Text Separator and I am still having the same problem. If you have a look at the website I have created Test using External URL with :;javascript when you move the cursor its does dropdown to show what other links are on there but when you move away from Test and come back to that link again it does not dropdown anymore until you refresh the page then it works.

Is there some code missing somewhere or I might have deleted it by mistake?

Hello,

Your coding looks fine there are a few things I notice that could be causing this.

1) Try using javascript:; instead of :;javascript.

2) Try and disable any 3rd party scripts that are utilized on your site that are not part of the default package. There might be a script conflict somewhere on your site that is causing this type of layout issue.

Problems solved. Thank you Mike.

How can I get the s5_lazyload on traction? Been to download page and its no where to be found to download that extension. http://www.shape5.com/demo/index.php?soul_search after the Download Now button you have four images with hover layer/ text. That is called the s5_lazyload right? If not please what is the actual name so I can download that file extension.

Cheers

Hello,

You can find this in the Template Manager under the Javascripts Tab.

Sorry Mike what I meant to say was how do get that on my Module Manager. As in when I add new module s5_lazyload does not come up in my Select a Module Type. That means I have to download some sort of extension to have that right? Just want the name of that extension file.

Hello,

This is actually called the S5 Info Slide script and is also included as part of Vertex. See below for documentation on how to utilize this feature:

Hi Mike,

I have read the link you sent over and done as directed. I created the S5 Info Slide in a Module, but when you move the mouse over the image the opaque layer does not pop up to display those text in there. Any ideas why is behaving that way?

Hello,

I would have to check your coding on each slide to be sure but 90% of the time I see this happen it is actually due to improper coding on one the slides that is breaking all the other ones. Double check your coding on each slide and make sure everything is closed properly.

Mike, this is the code I have on there;

<div class="s5_is" style="display: block;">
<img class="s5_lazyload" src="/images/image_1.png" alt="" style="opacity: 1;">
<div class="s5_is_slide" style="opacity: 0.85; height: 145px; width: 233px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px;">
<div class="s5_is_display">
<h3>Argan Collection</h3>
The last thing Edmund sees before.
Read more...
</div>
</div>
</div>

is something wrong with that?

Hi Mike,

I have run into another issue and could use your help.  Is related to s5_is_slide

element.style {
  height: 45px;
    margin-bottom: 0;
    margin-left: 0;
    opacity: 0.85;
    width: 100%;
}

At the moment I am trying to edit the element.style of the width from % to px but I could not located the file to work on anywhere.
Firebug is not displaying the necessary path to get that file and edit it. Any ideas as to how can locate that file?
Would it be in; s5_info_slide.css, template.css, s5_flex_menu.css?

Hello,

While I don't advise to modify core files you could do so here:\

\templates\traction\js\s5_info_slide.js

        if (s5_is_slide_class == "yes") {
            if (itemsCover.size()) {
                jQuery(items).css("display", "block");
                itemsCover.each(function (index, itemc) {
                    jQuery(itemc).css({
                            'height': jQuery('h3', jQuery(itemc))[0].offsetHeight + 'px',
                            'width': '100%'
                        });
                });
            }
        }

Alternatively I would suggest just using a !important override in the custom.css. That way when you update the Template your changes won't be removed. Also, % values are generally better for responsive design.

.s5_is_slide {
width: 50% !important;}
