I have noticed on the demo that clicking on the read more icon of a post(eg Cds now available,Lorem ipsum returns an empty page (only top and bottom areas and vertical menu show)  if all the  content was already shown. The same occurs on my test site ( site shaper install).

I cannot find a way 1) to remove the read more icon from posts such as these on my site or 2) how to make it open the post/page anyway.

On the actual site I am preparing , clicking on the read more or the page/post url brings up a 404.

It's probably something related to the size of the post, the 2 posts you mentioned are really short.  It could also be a permalinks issue.

A 404 probably means that your permalink settings need to be refreshed...  just go to "settings -> permalinks" in WP admin and hit "save";  That should fix any URL issues.

Ok, I put up a few dummy posts, and they seem to be working fine. The non-appearance issue seems to have been restricted to the content that came with the theme install.

I tried the the permalinks refresh, but no change. I'll check to see it isn't some with our server setup.

Are the menu links giving a 404 as well?  If not, I'm not sure what would be causing it.  Is it happening on all of them, or just the demo content?  If it's just the demo content, then I wouldn't worry about it too much, since I doubt you'd be keeping any of that on a real site.

Thnx. Changing the Permalinks back to default solved the issue.
