I'm very new to wordpress, but a good learner as well.

I'm trying to figure out how to do the following, hopefully someone with good will can point me in the right way:

* Please see attached picture regard questions

0) where do i choose the elements for my front page

1) where do i change logo

2) where to change this drop-down

3) where to assign the social icon links

4) where and how to configure/edit  the image info slides

5) this doesn't seem like a post, how to create such content blocks without the frame like it is , and how to fix his width and position.

6) this seem to be a post with frame, how do i select the posts to be inserted in front page and how to choose  their width limits (columns)

7) wish to use this as 1 column and edit the current, can manage to find where to edit this widget properly.

8 ) how/where to insert pictures and content in front page

9) how/where to edit that quick menu title and links

10) how/where to edit footer general information

11) how/where to edit quicklinks in top and botton page

I'm very new to wordpress, but a good learner as well.

I'm trying to figure out how to do the following, hopefully someone with good will can point me in the right way:

* Please see attached picture regard questions

Thanks for including a reference image, it really helps to be able to see what you are talking about.

0) where do i choose the elements for my front page

The majority of the content is controlled using widgets, so most of your site structure and content will be managed on the "Appearance => Widgets" page of WP Admin.

1) where do i change logo

There are a couple ways to change the logo:
The best way is to replace the images/s5_logo.png file in the theme folder (I recommend FileZilla for FTP access).

You can also place a text widget in the "logo" position with an HTML image tag - this way will not make the logo clickable by default, but some people may consider it to be easier than a file swap.

2) where to change this drop-down

That depends on what you want to change.  The "Open Panel"/"Close Panel" text is changed on the "Drop Down" tab of the "Shape 5 Theme" admin area, as is a handful of other settings related to the function of the dropdown itself.

If you want to change the content of the drop down, that is controlled by changing the widgets in the "Drop Down" postitions under the "Appearance => Widgets" admin area.

3) where to assign the social icon links

The first tab of the Shape 5 Theme admin area has all the theme/template specific settings, social media links should be at the bottom of that tab.  Any that you leave blank will be hidden from the front end.

4) where and how to configure/edit  the image info slides

The info slides from the demo and shaper are located in the Top Row 1.x widget positions, you hsould hopefully be able to figure out how to edit the content just by looking at the text widgets containing them.

5) this doesn't seem like a post, how to create such content blocks without the frame like it is , and how to fix his width and position.

That is a text widget in the "Top Row 2.2" widget position.  The image next to it is in the "Top Row 2.1" position.

6) this seem to be a post with frame, how do i select the posts to be inserted in front page and how to choose  their width limits (columns)

That is the default content area.  It will display whatever number of recent posts you have defined in the "Settings => Reading" area of the admin, or the content of whatever page or post you are viewing.  The column widths for all the various rows of the theme are configurable in the Shape 5 Theme admin area.

7) wish to use this as 1 column and edit the current, can manage to find where to edit this widget properly.

That text widget is located in the "Right inset" widget position and has a "Grey" style applied to it.  You can re-structure the number of columns by riding or removing the other widgets around it (in the "Right Top", "Right", and "Right Bottom" positions).

8 ) how/where to insert pictures and content in front page

The number for this question is next to a text widget placed in the "Bottom Row 1.1" position, front page content is either blog posts or a specific page as defined on the "Settings => Reading" page of WP Admin, and will display in the area referenced by number 6 in your image.

9) how/where to edit that quick menu title and links

The menu is a custom menu widget in the "Bottom Row 3.3" position, you can change the title in the widget itself and select which menu it displays.  To edit the actual menu, just select the correct menu from the "Appearance => Menus" admin area, and make whatever changes you want.

10) how/where to edit footer general information

All content that is not actual page content is controlled by widgets, the "Bottom Row 3.x" positions are the positions in the "footer" area.

11) how/where to edit quicklinks in top and botton page

The small menus at the top and bottom are just custom menu widgets placed in the "Top Menu" and "Bottom Menu" positions; they can be changed to same way as any other custom menu widget.

Hopefully that answered your questions well enough.  Thanks for laying things out in a way that was easy to answer!

That was a typo.  Try Top Row 2.1.

You can also add "?tp=1"  to your site URL to see all possible positions: http://shape5.com/demo/wp/corporate-response/?tp=1

The tab titles for Vertical Accordion are defined in the properties of the Vertical Accordion widget, not in the other widgets placed in those tabs.
